Extra occupations added to the Migration List

The Department of Home Affairs in Australia has released a new list of Occupations that are now eligible for the 189 Subclass there are now 36 new Occupations that are eligible for Direct PR pathway as an Offshore Applicant.
The Occupations that are of particular interest to South East Asian individuals are as follows:
Petroleum Engineer;
Engineering Professionals (NEC);
Chemist;
Food technologist;
University Lecturer;
Multimedia Specialist;
Software and Applications Programmer (NEC);
Mining Engineer (Excluding Petroleum);
Economist;
Statistician;
Music Director;
Dancer or Choreographer ; and
Arts Administrator or Manager
